Schröter, Corona
Schröter, Schroeter, Schroeder, Maria Henriette, *1766 Leipzig, †after 1804 Karlsruhe (?), German singer, daughter of Johann Friedrich. She was first taught music by her father, and then probably by J.A. Hiller in Leipzig. Since 1779 she was music teacher at the court in Hanau. She performed at concerts in Leipzig and with her brother Heinrich in Frankfurt (1780). Before 1788 she became a singer in court in Darmstadt, where she worked until 1804. In 1788 she married a courtly clerk, J.J. Rühl.
