Liebich, Ernst (I) Johann Gottlob
Liebich Ernst (II) Johann Gottlob, *13 April 1830 Wrocław, †23 September 1884 Wrocław, Silesian luthier, son and student of Ernst (I). He practised in the famous violin-making workshops of Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume in Paris and George Hart in London. He took over his father’s workshop and – like the father – built violins (including violas and cellos) based on various Stradivari and Guarneri models.
