Hataš, Anna Františka
Hataš, Hatasch, Hattasch, Hatass, Ivan Václav, Vencelaus, Wenzel, probably also known as Johann, Giovanni, Jan, *3 September 1727 Vysoké Mýto, †?, Czech composer, brother of Dismas.
There is little information about his professional activity. Between 1742 and 1752, he was probably a cantor in Rožmitál. He composed church music. Due to imprecise attribution in the manuscripts, it is not possible to determine whether the numerous motets, litanies, and offertories preserved in Czech libraries are works by Ivan Václav Hataš or by another member of the family.
