Goossens, Eugene
Goossens Sidonie, *19 October 1899 Liscard (Cheshire), †15 December 2004 Reigate, daughter of Eugéne II, English harpist of Belgian origin. She graduated Royal College of Music. In 1921, he debuted as a soloist with orchestra. From 1930, she was the principal harpist of the BBC Symphony Orchestra. She took part in the world premieres of many contemporary compositions. From 1960, she was a professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
