Campi Miklaszewiczówna-Leonowicz Antonina, *10 December 1773 Lublin, †3 September 1822 Munich, Polish singer (soprano). She initially performed in concerts and at the Warsaw Opera [now Grand Theatre, Warsaw]. In 1788, she became a court singer to King Stanisław August Poniatowski. Between 1791 and 1800, she was a soloist at the Italian opera theatre in Prague, enjoying great success, particularly in Mozart’s operas (The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute); it was there that she married the singer Gaetano Campi. In 1801, she was engaged by E. Schikaneder for his theatre in Vienna; from 1805, she was a soloist at the Vienna Hofoper [now Staatsoper], later singing in Dresden, Stuttgart, Berlin and Munich. In 1820, she performed on Polish stages: in Warsaw (as Amenaide in Rossini’s Tancredi), Krakow and Lviv.
