Biography

Rezler Alfons, *3 November 1907 Moszczenica, †12 September 1939 Włocławek, Polish violinist, conductor and teacher, Edmund’s brother. In 1931, he graduated from the Poznań Conservatory in the violin class of Z. Jahnke and in 1934, in musicology at the University of Poznań. In 1932–39, he taught at the conservatory in Bydgoszcz, acting at the same time as a publicist and organiser of musical life. In 1939, the mixed choir he led won the first prize at the national choir competition in Bydgoszcz.
