Godecharle, Jacques Antoine (EN)

Godecharle, Godecharles, Godechart, Goddeschal, Godischal, Godischial, Godschalck, Codecharle, Jacques Antoine, *14 October 1713 Brussels, †11 December 1782 Brussels, Dutch Singer (bass). In 1734–80, he was a member of a royal band, from 1749, he was a maître de musique at the St-Nicolas church in Brussels. Among the six sons he had with Isabelle Delsart, five of them became musicians.
