Godecharle, Eugène Charles Jean
Godecharle, Godecharles, Godechart, Goddeschal, Godischal, Godischial, Godschalck, Codecharle, Joseph Antoine, baptised 17 January 1746 Brussels, †21 March 1829 Brussels, Jacques Antoine’s son, Dutch oboist. In 1766–94, he was a member of a royal band, from 1768 also of an opera orchestra; he also played the English horn and the flute during Spectacles de Bruxelles (1774–76).
