Steinway, Henry
Steinway, Steinweg, William, Johann Heinrich Wilhelm, *5 March 1835 Seesen, †30 November 1896 New York, German piano builder operating in the United States, son of Henry. He was the first president of the family company, in which Henry’s sons, Charles G. (1829–1865) and Albert (1840–1877), and representatives of subsequent generations operated.
