Biography and literature

Romański Stefan, *2 September 1858 Lublin, †1933 Przepitki (Gmina Nowe Miasto, within Płońsk County), Polish organ and piano builder, son and student of Stanisław. He worked with his father on the construction and repair of pianos. From 1887, he ran an organ and piano workshop in Lublin, around 1890 in Krasnystaw, from 1894 again in Lublin, and from 1895 in his own home, in the organ and harmonium factory he took over from his father, where he also repaired pianos and mechanical instruments. At an exhibition in Lublin in 1901, he was awarded a large silver medal for his pneumatic church organs. In total, he built about 20 organs.
