Work on the “Digitization and Sharing of Digital Resources of the PWM Edition and the Polish Composers’ Union” project is in full swing! Thanks to the acquisition of new equipment, the project will gain an additional dimension of optimization and quality.

As part of the project, we have purchased three new devices for our digitization studio, which will streamline the team’s work and enable the highest quality digital reproductions. The CopiBook OS A2 XD 600 dpi scanner ensures the safe digitization of books, magazines, and documents up to A2 format using a book cradle that can be adjusted to the spine, providing stable positioning of materials during scanning. The device offers very high scan quality of up to 600 dpi, as well as fast processing and automatic image correction, significantly enhancing the professional digitization of our collections.
Two WideTEK 25 flatbed scanners enable fast scanning of books and documents in high resolution, ensuring excellent reproduction of both text and images. The devices are equipped with automatic image processing functions, including cropping and dewarping, which optimize the digitization of large volumes of materials. As part of the project investments, we have also purchased new workstations, monitors, and tablets, further improving the efficiency of the entire team.
Stay tuned and follow our project activities! More information about digitization projects can be found here.
