Esterházy, Eszterházy Pál Antal, *22 April 1711, †18 March 1762, Pala’s grandson. He took over the reign at the Eisenstadt Castle in 1734; he was also active as a diplomat and was a collector of music documentation. In 1761 he appointed J. Haydn as second court Kapellmeister.
