Feuillet, Lefeuillet, Raoul Auger, *ca. 1660, †ca. 1710 Paris, French dancer and choreographer. Feuillet was a pupil of Ch.-L. Beauchamp and co-inventor of dance notation (chorégraphie). His treatise Chorégraphie… contained explanations of the symbols and rules of dance notation, as well as notations of dance steps according to the French school of dance, and furthermore two collections of dances composed by Feuillet and L. Pécour. Feuillet also published several collections of dances, Recueils de danses… (Paris 1704–09), notated using choreographic notation. Feuillet’s notation method was used by many choreographers.
