Brunerio Michel’ Angelo, Italian singer (bass) and writer active in the 17th century, a member of the chapel of Władysław IV in Warsaw. The only information about him dates back to 1646, when he published in Gdańsk the text of a panegyric dramatic scene (2 soloists and 2 choirs) for the king’s wedding, entitled Marte e Amore, drama da rapresentarsi in musica (preserved in the library of Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk). Brunerio signed it as “basso del Rè e cappellano della Regina”. However, reports from the wedding celebrations make no mention of the performance of this short piece.
