Arciszewski Jan, †1922, Polish builder of wind instruments. From 1884, he ran a wind instrument factory in Warsaw, taken over from Świerczewski, probably his teacher and principal. He had sons Jan and Stanisław, builders of wind instruments, who ran the company until around 1942. The collection of the Museum of Musical Instruments in Poznań includes 9 Arciszewski instruments (2 trumpets, 4 flugelhorns, a French horn, a trombone and a helicon).
