Two long, intense days filled with wonderful experiences are behind us.
ART.DATA – a conference at which we had the opportunity to participate as a representative of the Polish Music Library, enriched us with unusual meetings, important discussions and new ideas. It was also time for us to summarise the project “Digitization of resources owned by Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne Edition – continuation.” We would like to thank the organiser – Centrum Projektów Polska Cyfrowa – for the invitation.
We were there for you with our booth, where we personally showed you the possibilities of the portal and our work “from the inside.” In the photos, you can see Dr. Daniel Cichy, director – editor-in-chief of PWM (PBM presentation), Małgorzata Fiedor-Matuszewska, head of the PWM Rights Management Department (panel devoted to copyright issues), as well as… Minister Paweł Lewandowski from the Ministry of Digitization, to whom, among others, we showed how old technologies worked in the field of sheet music editing.
We know that not every hero wears a cape! We are immensely proud of the accomplishments we can showcase and equally grateful for the years of dedication from everyone who has contributed to bringing our Library to its current state. Meetings like these make us realize that behind the visible effect, there is a huge team of people and thousands of hours of work. And, of course, this applies to all projects presented during the conference.
And finally – nothing about us without you! Just like art without an audience, our website would make much less sense if it were not for its users, with whom we want to share the heritage we have collected.
