European Funds Days are behind us!

European Funds Days at Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne

A special day is behind us; it was full of inspiration, fun and joint discovery of the world of music and modern technologies. During the event, participants had a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes at the activities of Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne and learn about the specifics of work in selected positions.

Tour

We visited the Digitalisation and Digital Printing Workshops together, where modern devices used in the production process and the sharing of unique PWM resources were presented. We also visited the Music Resources Library, full of valuable sheet music and book publications, and the Pictures Magazine, which hides real gems. We familiarised ourselves with the process of digitisation, archiving and development of musical and iconographic materials.

Polish Music Library (PBM)

An important element of the European Funds Days programme was the presentation of the functionality of the Polish Music Library portal – which invariably provides wide access to the Publishing House’s resources to all interested in the world of music.

Games and challenges

The event was crowned by games and creative activities with a musical accent. Reconstruction of sheet music, bingo, puzzles, colouring books… Exceptionally, we traditionally created the collages. But we wouldn’t be ourselves if we didn’t digitise the finished works! You can see the effects in the gallery below.
