Jasiński Wojciech Józef, †1800 Lviv, Polish actor, singer (tenor) and theatre director, husband of Magdalena Jasińska.
The first records of his career date from July 1780, when he made his debut in Lviv with the troupe of A. and T. Truskolaski. In 1784, he was a member of L. Pierożyński’s troupe, which performed at the court of Prince Karol Radziwiłł in Nieśwież. He may have appeared at that time in the premiere performance of J.D. Holland’s opera Agatka czyli przyjazd pana. In 1785 he worked in Vilnius with W. Bogusławski’s company. In 1786, after marrying Magdalena, he moved to the theatre in Warsaw. In January 1787 he sang there in A. Weinert’s opera Donnerwetter, czyli kapral na werbunku, after which he went to Lviv. In 1789 and 1791, he worked in Lublin, including as co-director of the local theatre. In 1790, he performed in Kraków.
